To educate the electorates within 2 years on:-

  • Understanding the office of the citizen in governance in Nigeria
  • Putting mechanism is place to promote accountability  and good governance and hold government accountable through various medium
  • Fostering unity amongst Nigerians bothat home and abroad
  • Civic rights and responsibilities of citizens
  • Nation Reorientation
  • Teaching civic rights and responsibilities using various creative forms of media: comedy, podcast, cartoon, music, merchandises
  • Advocacy for change (e.g Rights for diaspora to vote, Electoral reforms)
  • Pressure on world governments ( through Nigerian organization in the diaspora, e.g Nigerian in diaspora organization (NIDO),Civic liberty Organizations in Nigeria – CLO, etc)
  • While we are willing to partner with local groups and diaspora organizations, NWBG is a unique group because we practice our beliefs about justice, equity and accountability in solidarity directly with the masses.
  • Signing of petitions
  • Scrutinizing which initiatives/agencies that are supported and funded by the government to know if they are working and are not( watch dog)
  • Scrutinize manifestos of aspiring leaders
  • Investigative journalism – whistleblowers
  • Freedom of information
  • Identify all Nigerian unions that exist in each country and work with them
  • Organize symposiums, conferences and social and fundraising event
  • Diversity in Leadership
  • Global Leadership forum that make decisions : Reps: Grass-root, Elites, diaspora\
  • Leaders should be placed on tasks that they are passionate about
  • Growing the membership base of “Na we be Government”
  • Create an atmosphere of learning through experience, reflection, and action
  • Applying political pressure to all levels of government to ensure accountability
  • A personal commitment to group’s core values and actions
